Building Canada’s First Fully Compliant CAD Stablecoin
Kesem Frank is the Founder & CEO of Stablecorp and the driving force behind QCAD — Canada’s first fully compliant Canadian Dollar-backed stablecoin. After years of regulatory engagement, QCAD received its final prospectus receipt from the Canadian Securities Administrators, establishing a new standard for regulated, 1:1 CAD-denominated digital money designed for payments, settlement, and institutional use.
An enterprise blockchain pioneer, Kesem previously served as Blockchain lead at Deloitte Canada and co-founded Nuco, one of the earliest enterprise blockchain platforms and a founding member of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (later evolving into the Aion/Mavennet ecosystem). Holding an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, he specializes in building bank-grade digital asset infrastructure that bridges traditional regulated finance with next-generation blockchain technology. At UN Blockchain Week he shares the path to sovereign, compliant stablecoins and the future of digital Canadian dollars.
